Sometimes I look at my parents and wonder if people expect me to be as accomplished and awesome as they are. I am very proud of my parents and I'm glad they are mine, but I wonder if I can be that awesome too.
I think I'm setting up an interview to become an intern with the Utah Legislature. I don't think I'll get it, but there's no problem with trying. That's how I got into Westminster, I tried when I didn't think I would get in.
I guess what I'm saying is I'm going to try to be as accomplished as my parents, and then some.

Across the Pond
Bleh, what a weekend.
On Friday, I spent a lot of time not working. Instead, I took time to look at study abroad options. I've wanted to study abroad since I was a senior in high school and I figured it would be nice just to look. It looks like the U has options that go to England and/or Germany, and those ones I'm super interested in. Then I ventured outside the University of Utah website and found some sites and found a program that goes to....Trinity College in Dublin (!!!). When I went to Ireland a few years ago, I came up with a dream to go to Trinity College in Dublin and I think it would be so great to go!
I was so afraid to talk to Zack about it though. But, he supports me 100%, no matter how bad it may suck to be apart for a whole semester (or summer). I probably won't be accepted into any programs right now though, seeing as my grades are not where they should be. I'm working really hard this semester though, and I think I'm doing pretty well.
Speaking of which, Zack stole me a street sign for V-Day. I was hoping for roses, but the street sign was an inside joke from when we started dating and it was actually very sweet that he actually remembered. I was sad, however, we didn't get to really do anything. We can't afford flowers and dinner or whatever. I am just glad I got to spend it with him.
Today we spent time working on my room. Tomorrow we get to paint! Squee!

School, Remodeling, and Other Stuff...
It's been a while. Here is what I've been up to.
>School is ca-raaaaazy. Waking up at the bum crack of dawn, going to class, working full time then BACK to class is exhausting. I really enjoy my classes though. Although my professor is mind-numbing, my government class is so interesting. I've always enjoyed learning about the American government and how it works so getting up at 6 a.m. every day is almost worth it. My photography class reminds me of jr. high when I took a photography class. I'm a little behind because I had to go out and buy a new camera and supplies and I'm still working out the kinks, but it is a very fun class. Lastly, news writing. I hate journalism classes. I'm already good at it, who says I need the courses. Posh.
>Work is work. If there is an Apple Spice Junction near you...order from it! We have good food...
>I decided to paint my room. It started out as a one-day job which is now turning into a month-long job. We started to sand the walls, then noticed it was wallpaper peeling. Then we just peeled it all off. Now we have to plaster and sand and prime and paint and it is taking foreverrrr. I've been sleeping in the living room because my OTHER room has a crack in the foundation and the floor is all wet. Cool.
>Zack and I are cool. He's moving back to his mom's condo with Erin while his mom tries to sell it. It'll be fun, I love that condo, I wish she wouldn't sell it so I could just live in it...Speaking of which, Erin and I have become good friends, which is awesome. Because she is awesome.
Um that's all for now. Any questions?
That's all for now.
